The Fall Run is heating up here on Long Island and for my first Blog I wanted to share with you some highlights from a Charter I booked with an amazing fellow Captain named Jim Delano from Peace of Mind Charters out of Shinnecock on Long Island. We hit the inlet in the early AM for an incoming tide and drifted live bait and were hooked up in less than 10 minutes with a keeper Bass. We continued the drift for the next 2 hours and proceeded to hook up on every drift catching and releasing over a dozen Stripers. When the tide started to slow we switched to jigging for Blues and the elusive Bonito and were rewarded with another 10 Blues and the Bonito remains on the bucket list for the next time.
