Hey there, and welcome to CaptContent.com!
I’m Captain Henry Ramirez, a Long Island-based captain who’s spent a lifetime on the water. Whether it’s fishing, boating, or exploring the coast, there’s nothing I love more than being out there. I’m also a certified scuba diver and have worked behind the scenes in special effects for major motion pictures—but these days, I focus on sharing my experiences through this blog.
Beyond fishing, I’m also an avid cook with a deep appreciation for fresh seafood. I even wrote and published The Seafood Cookbook: From Sea to Table, where I break down everything from catching to cooking some of the best fish out there. You’ll find plenty of recipes peppered throughout my blog, especially when I feature different fish species. After all, there’s nothing better than cooking up your own fresh catch!
